PREVENT Training

Prevent is part of the UK counter-terrorism strategy, CONTEST. Its aim is to stop people becoming terrorists or supporting terrorism. Supporting the Prevent agenda against radicalisation and extremism has been set as a priority area for the WSCB and the Board is represented on the Wirral Channel Panel.

The WSCB are running a 2 hour briefing aimed at all professionals who work in sectors where they come into contact with families, children or young people who may be vulnerable to radicalisation.
