Free Bite Size Learning – Mental Health Awareness, Talking Life
Mental health problems are an increasing public health concern, not just in the UK but they are prevalent around the world. Despite this, for many people there is less awareness than there should be about mental health and mental illness and there needs to be an improved understanding of how people can manage or recover from mental ill health and how suicide risk can be reduced.
This free, bitesize Mental Health Awareness course aims to increase awareness and understanding, particularly amongst professionals who may regularly come into contact with people with mental ill health.
This FREE, 1-hour learning seminar on Thursday, 5th December, 2024 at 12.30, will raise awareness of how the equality act is applied to mental health and about the importance of self care for mental wellbeing.
The seminar itself will last 45 minutes and there will be a 15 minute question and answer session to finish.
These free places are limited for practitioners in Wirral supporting children and families, so sign up now and be sure not to miss this high quality event
